The Central Naugatuck Valley Regional Action Council (CNVRAC) is one of the 14 community partnership Regional Action Councils in the State of Connecticut that work to provide your community with education, training and advocacy for substance abuse prevention.
 

Regional Action Councils (RACs) were created by the State Legislature in 1989 with the purpose of fighting tobacco, drug and gambling addictions across our state.

Regional Action Councils are led by local educators, parents, business people, social service providers, law enforcement officials, clergy, government leaders and youth. They are designed to be responsive, focused and tailored to meet your community's specific needs.
